Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I find your product?

Our new brick and mortar store at 1025 Royal Ave in New Westminster!

We are also currently in a number of retail stores across the greater Vancouver area, Squamish, Kelowna, and Vancouver Island. Please see the map under the 'Find Us' tab to find the closest location. Product selection will vary by store, and our cream cheeses are the most widely available of our products.

We also attend numerous farmers' markets and craft fairs across Metro Vancouver and in Squamish; please see the 'Find Us' tab for our market schedule.

If you order online, we deliver all across Metro Vancouver, or you can pick up from one of our pickup locations.

How long does your product last?

Our Cashew Cream Cheeses last at least 11 weeks in the fridge and 4 months in the freezer.

The Carrot 'Smoked Salmon' lasts at least 8 weeks in the fridge. You can freeze it (many people do), but it might change the texture of the product slightly.

Our Original Yogurt and Pure Vanilla Yogurt last 8 and 4 weeks in the fridge, respectively.

We do not vacuum seal or pasteurize our products, so these guidelines apply whether or not you've opened the product. They should be fine for these time periods as long as you tightly reseal the lid and do not introduce any contaminants.

Of course, please use your discretion and if the food seems off, do not eat it! If that's the case, please reach out to us at info@livingtreefoods.ca.

PLEASE NOTE: Because these are relatively fresh products, the best-before dates refer to the month and day, not the year.

Are your products vegan?

YES! Our products are, and will always be, 100% vegan for our health, for the planet, and for the animals. We will never compromise on this, or on taste!

How can I use your product?

There are so many different ways, and if you're so inclined, you can get very creative. The Cashew Cream Cheese can be used as a spread or a dip, be added to pasta sauce to add a rich creaminess, and the Classic flavour is also great for baking.

Our Carrot 'Smoked Salmon' is usually used to make lox (i.e. spread one of our cream cheeses on a bagel, add some 'smoked salmon', and top with fresh dill, red onion, and capers). We've also made sushi with it, added it to power or poke bowls, and thrown it in wraps or on sandwiches.

Our Cashew Yogurts are great paired with berries and granola, added to smoothies, and you can even bake with them! The Original Yogurt can also double as sour cream (e.g. to pair with pierogi) or mayo (e.g. to make potato salad).

...plus a ton more. Please check out our 'Recipes' page for some inspiration.

Do you have a jar return program?

Yes. In an effort to reduce our environmental footprint, we have implemented a jar return program when you buy directly from us, either off of this website or at a farmers' market. For every returned jar, you'll get 25 cents off on a subsequent purchase!

How it works at a market: Bring back clean jars, and you'll get your discount on a same-day purchase.

How it works with online shopping: When you pick up or we deliver your order, we'll grab your clean jars from you. Then, we'll send you a discount code to apply to your next online purchase reflecting the number of jars you returned.

Thank you for helping us help the planet!

What are the delivery and pickup options?

Please see this page, and email info@livingtreefoods.ca if you have any questions.

Do you ship across Canada or worldwide?

We do not offer shipping at this time. However, Vegan Supply carries a number of our products, and they ship worldwide :)

Where can I leave a review?

Thank you so much for your support! We would love if you left a review under any of your favourite products; as a token of our appreciation, we will send you a discount code for our online store. You can also leave a Google review. We sometimes post screenshots of reviews (names excluded) to our social media to help spread the word :)

Can I get your fruit yogurts?

We have paused production on our fruit yogurts temporarily. We are working on improving their shelf-life in the fridge, and this means they will contain probiotics! We can't wait to get them back on the shelf - better, healthier, and tastier than ever.

Can I buy LTF Pumpkin Spice Pudding?

This product is seasonal, and you can grab it starting in September.
