COSTA RICAN COCOA
With ideal climate and volcanic soil, Costa Rica is situated to produce some of the finest cocoa in the world. The orchards are walked daily by expert farmers to ensure pods are picked at their peak ripeness, and no flower buds or unripe pods are damaged. Each harvest is fermented for 7 days in 3 different stages to create the smoky and earthy beginnings of chocolate.
